Frequently asked questions

The British Medical Association, Canadian Medical Association, and the American Medical Association are proud to host the ICPH 2022 as a hybrid conference (both virtual and in-person events). All three organizations will continue to carefully monitor the COVID-19 pandemic, working closely with leadership, venue staff and healthcare officials. We hope that conditions will improve with the continued actions of physicians, patients, and the public health community and we trust that you recognize our priorities are to support patients and physicians in this time and to work for the safety and well-being of everyone involved. If the conference is moved to a full virtual event, postponed, or canceled, attendees will be notified via email communication.

The call for abstracts opened November 2021. All submissions must be submitted electronically via the online abstract management system by the February 25, 2022 deadline.

After you complete your submission, a receipt of confirmation email will be sent to you. Keep a copy of this receipt for your records along with a copy of the original documents.

No. Once all information (abstracts, supporting materials, and other demographic information) is submitted, it cannot be changed. If there is an issue with your abstract content, contact ICPH staff at physicianhealth@ama-assn.org.

All corresponding/submitting authors were informed via email whether their abstract was accepted or declined on May 20, 2022. If you did not receive a status update email, contact us at physicianhealth@ama-assn.org. Note: Research oral and workshop submitters may be asked to reformat their submissions for a virtual event (if applicable).

ICPH 2022 will be Oct. 13-15 at the Hyatt Regency Orlando.
